Our suppliers in our supply chain are part of our social compliance programs (wages, working hours, health & safety regulations, etc). In that respect, all the factories manufacturing leather footwear, its peripheral components, and leather accessories for us and our customers are subject to audits on a continuous basis by third-party inspection companies. This ensures that the suppliers follow both country of origin laws and regulations, as well as all recognized international regulations.

REACH NORMS COMPLIANCE

Continuous efforts are being made to enforce all applicable regulations regarding chemical compliance. Amit Leather Company’s footwear and other products are tested prior to and during the production process to ensure that chemicals such as lead, phthalates, and other potentially harmful chemicals meet all required parameters. All products are being tested by Third-Party laboratories which fully comply with international regulations. All our products meet the "REACH NORMS".

SECURITY COMPLIANCE

Amit Leather Company continuously supports and works with our factories and suppliers to ensure the implementation of security programs. Annual audits for all suppliers are conducted by Third- Party audit companies.

SUSTAINABILITY

Amit Leather Company is continuously working with our factories and suppliers to implement and explore environmentally friendly practices, like the use of recyclable materials, recycling and waste reduction, energy savings, emission reduction, and all other initiatives contributing to sustainable products. Our supply chain has partnered with us to improve our carbon footprint. We also recommend our customers to use sea freight where possible as is much more environmentally friendly than air freight.

ENVIRONMENT CONTROL

At Amit Leather Company, there is a deep concern for the preservation of the environment. Our facilities have been designed to match international standards in terms of noise levels, temperature control, etc. There is a special regular orientation and onboarding program to educate the workers regarding the use of various chemicals and different types of machinery.

QUALITY POLICY

Quality is an integral part of our organization and workers are first put on a special training program before they are put on a production line. More emphasis is paid to online and in-process quality control checks at various stages to ensure an end product that competes with the best in the world.

Our quality checking processes are continuously monitored & new improvements are infused into it on a continual basis. Before any end product gets delivered it goes through a series of checks to ensure minimal or zero defects. Finished goods are sent to Société Générale de Surveillance SGS / Intertek Testing Services labs for various tests before going into production, the final finished product is also sent for testing before dispatch.

TRANSPARENCY POLICY

Transparency is a cornerstone of our program and collaborating with customers to uphold our standards is key to this. This approach allows us to assess supply chain risk, deploy resources to assist continuous improvement, and monitor compliance within our internal teams and the wider supply chains. We believe in full transparency and clear communication for business areas, visibility to the in-scope supply chain, and the associated compliance information. Our suppliers are SEDEX/LWG/ICS/BSCI members with low-risk status and are ready to follow the customer’s requirements in terms of SAQs and audits to provide full visibility of our facilities.
